And when two or more are gathered together - we will soar significantly because of His promised presence no matter what! And we've only just begun.

Kathy Thomas

Executive Board | Treasurer

An astute CPA with 40+ years of experience in finance, accounting, and business leadership. Her career is fundamentally grounded in integrity and built upon systematic stewardship and public service, specializing in “the numbers.”

For more than 50 years, Kathy has faithfully served on multiple finance boards of several churches and nonprofit organizations, providing financial oversight and support. In addition to her professional career and nonprofit leadership commitments, Kathy is an avid tennis player who is actively involved in her community. She serves as a mentor for the next generation, encouraging community engagement.

Kathy is passionate about using her financial expertise, leadership experience, and Christian faith to help Care Calvary fulfill its God-given mission with excellence and integrity by contributing her faithful stewardship.

Ferlesha "Lesa" Jackson

Executive Board | Sargent-at-Arms

A retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant with 30+ years of military service operations spanning internationally, including Iraq and Afghanistan. Her expertise is dedicated to helping people and organizations turn visions into meaningful results.

Lesa is widely known as “The Conductress” based on her reputation as an entrepreneurial business strategist who specializes in empowering organizational growth for others individually and collectively.

Through her involvement with Care Calvary, she remains committed to helping individuals discover their purpose, strengthen their faith in GOD, and self-esteem to build lasting legacies for future generations.

Rev. Vascola Stoney-Grant

Executive Board Member

A transformational speaker whose diverse talents and abilities captivate audiences—young and older—with stimulating and thought-provoking inspiringly profound messages. The ministry of her transformational speaking voice is renowned and is shared from coast-to-coast with a plethora or churches and community events.

Vascola moved to Houston when receiving a music scholarship to Texas Southern University. And she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications from Texas Southern and the Master of Divinity from The Samuel Dewitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University.

Vascola’s proclamation concerning The Gospel is: “I am saved to live it, ordained to preach it, compelled to share it, and transformed by the love that delivered it! And this inspired a Divine alignment with The Care Calvary.

Rev. Dr. Yolanda Burroughs

Executive Board Member

An ordained minister of the Gospel, board-certified chaplain, published author, and playwright. She is the founding director of Christian Creations Ministry, which is a preaching, teaching, literary, and performing arts ministry dedicated to creatively compelling men, women, and children to come into Christ’s kingdom, possess kingdom characteristics, live by kingdom principles, and walk in kingdom power.

Through every message, written work, stage production, and ministry assignment, she seeks to present life-changing revelation straight from the King’s throne.

Rev. Dr. Burroughs is deeply committed to Care Calvary’s vision and partners in the mission of caring for souls. Her life’s work reflects a sincere desire to serve God with excellence, uplift humanity with grace, and lead others into a deeper relationship with Christ.

Trianne Mosley

Board Member | Event Coordinator

Throughout my personal, professional, and entrepreneurial journey, God has taught me the importance of servant leadership, building meaningful relationships, and caring for people in practical and impactful ways. I am excited to use my gifts, talents, and experiences to support the ministry's mission and help create an environment where individuals feel welcomed, encouraged, and valued.

Trianne stated, "I am honored and grateful to have been chosen to be a part of Care Calvary Ministry. I believe this opportunity is both a blessing and a calling to serve others with compassion, humility, and the love of Christ. Sandra J. Freeman

As a Certified Christian Counselor, Sandra has passionately been involved in community outreach devoted to mentoring young women for decades. She empowers them based on The Word of GOD combined with practical and much-needed support to overcome life’s challenges.

The commitment of her time and talents with The Care Calvary Ministry equips and encourages women to understand who they are in Christ, grow in their faith, embrace GOD’s truth, and live victoriously through His power as they walk confidently in their God-given purpose.
